“Up to you Festival has the aim to reflect on the contemporary, to create an interaction between generations and cultures, to create a community in dialogue, leaving preconceptions and the comfort zone. In our uncertain present, we think it is essential to actively involve our audiences, provoking and questioning the present, rethinking hierarchies, boundaries and relationships. The idea is that the intergenerational exchange can build a more inclusive and harmonious society, where experiences and competencies of any generation are enhanced and integrated, where dialogue between parts supports individual growth and collective well-being. The claim of Up to you Festival 2024 is “Come to theater and make yourself uncomfortable”. That responds to our desire to attract new audiences, to maintain open and alive our community. In the certainty that only in the encounter – clash we can be open to change, theater can be an important context where everyone can have space”.
