Bio
“Currently, I am developing, based on the project and my experience in the formulation of the Departmental Culture Plan, an analysis in terms of public policies that allows enhancing the role of active citizens and participatory democracies in the cultural sector in Antioquia. For this we had a diagnostic process that included the performing arts, later work with different artistic sectors of the department and which ended in the formulation of the new Departmental Theater Plan 2023-2035 for the department.
My experience is not specific to theater as an artistic expression, but as a cultural manager who analyzes and proposes strategic actions to address the problems and needs of the sector. I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Management and Public Policies at the University of Chile, where I hope to be able to analyze with greater objectivity and new tools the development of audiences and their application through the Departmental Theater Plan and the Departmental Culture Plan, policies currently active in Antioch”.
