Bio

“Because it is an association made up of women survivors of violence who use theater to raise awareness, heal and transform. That fights against gender violence and against women, adolescents and girls. We carry out training processes in community theater with a gender focus and theater therapy for emotions and empowerment.
The added value of my project in the relationship between performing arts and spectators is the creation of immersive and participatory experiences that seek to meaningfully connect the audience with the performing work, encouraging reflection, empathy and active interaction.
The Las Poderosas Teatro project brings unique value to the relationship between the performing arts and spectators in several key aspects: empowerment of women survivors, identification of the public with the problems, post-function dialogue and reflection and social transformation tool.
The Las Poderosas Teatro project transcends the merely artistic to become a vehicle of empowerment, identification, dialogue and social transformation, establishing a deep and significant connection between the performing arts and the public”.
