“Although the name of the festival indicates to specific discipline in performing arts, the curatorial view extended to re-define the perspective of choreography which most of the times intersect with other discipline and field of study. The festival try to unpack the perspective of “presenting” by using non-theater sites for the programs. It aims to let the artist explore more opportunity to redefine choreography along with its goal to include more people to access performing arts. Therefore in the last edition, we also programmed a performance which took place in Kampung Kota (city village) as part of the artist concept to talk about urban issues”.
