“Les Spectatorices emancipés is a festival where residents and cultural professionals meet to reflect on the artistic practice of the spectator. An open space between meetings, research and discoveries. The key idea is to live the spectator’s experience before, during and after a show, and to emancipate oneself from the artist’s primary intention. Emancipated spectators could be defined as a collective and festive exploration between residents and the spectacle.
It is a project that resonates with the very concept of the congress. We want to share what we have done in France, so that the people present can experience part of it and share their feelings and comments”.
