Bio
“Primera llamada was born to be pioneers in the formative space of children’s theatre made by children for children.
This project has trained more than 140 Salvadoran children who apply with an audition in which they are evaluated on their desire to learn and share with other children during the 2 months of the workshop, ending with a performance.
When the pandemic arrived, the cast was ready to perform, so in order for them not to feel discouraged, we transformed it into radio theatre with the support of the radio taken from the Cultural Centre of Spain in El Salvador. Since that year we have been doing a radio version and a face-to-face presentation, giving the opportunity to experience theatre in a different way”.
