Bio
“At the UV Spectator School we have a detailed training process which I am in charge of coordinating.
The process to encourage a critical look at the EEUV consists of a series of theoretical-practical exercises that serve to increase our critical-reflective process around stage expectation, where horizontal dialogue between spectators is the backbone. This process has to do with the semiotic analysis of the staging interspersed with automatic writing exercises. After this, each of the spectators generates a theatrical comment (critical-reflexive), always starting from imagination and creativity, given that We conceive the spectator as a creator, an active subject within the scenic event, where the important thing is to awaken the spectator’s imagination, and above all the reflective process.
It is important not to lose the playful sense that lives within the phenomenon of expectation; This series of exercises helps to lay the foundations for theatrical criticism. We suggest, through the spectator’s free thought, that they generate their theatrical commentary on what was analyzed in the staging previously observed and I firmly believe that this contribution that is being made from the Universidad Veracruzana is important to reveal new processes of what and how to understand the relationship of the spectators with the stage phenomenon”.
