“Festival of Mindelact is Cape Verde’s main theater event and currently the most important theater event in the whole of Lusophone Africa. It is now considered the most important theater event in West Africa. In 2024 we will hold the 30th consecutive edition of the festival
In addition to the performances, the Mindelact Festival promotes exchanges between all the participants, training activities in the most diverse artistic areas linked to theatre, music concerts, design and plastic arts exhibitions and, in recent years, an alternative ‘Festival off’ and a specific program aimed at children, called ‘Teatrolândia’, as well as the International Storytelling Cycle”.
